ASQ is the world’s leading airport passenger satisfaction program with participants from more than 400 airports in 109 countries. This annual award from Airport Council International (ACI) highlights airport excellence in providing customer experience services worldwide based on data from the ASQ Departure and Arrival Survey. For the Asia-Pacific region, 25 airports received this award and 11 of them were airports from Indonesia. The following is a list of airports in Indonesia that won the 2023 ASQ Award.

Airport categories with a capacity of < 2 million passengers per year:
1. Depati Amir Airport
Located in Pangkal Pinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands, it is often referred to as Pangkal Pinang Airport. This airport has undergone several developments both from the air side and the land side.
2. Pattimura International Airport
Pattimura International Airport is in Ambon, Maluku. In 2021, this airport also won an award in the same category.

3. Adi Soemarmo International Airport
This airport is located in Surakarta, Central Java. Adi Soemarmo International Airport also won the ASQ award in 2021.
4. General Ahmad Yani International Airport
General Ahmad Yani International Airport is located in Semarang, Central Java. Like Pattimura Airport and Adi Soemarmo Airport, Ahmad Yani Airport won the ASQ Award in 2021.
5. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport
Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport is in Palembang. It has a runway measuring 3,000 x 45 meters with an asphalt surface.
6. Supadio Airport
This airport is located in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The distance is 17 km south of Palembang City. Supadio Airport was previously known as Sei Durian Airport or Sungai Durian Airport.

7. Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport
The location of this airport is in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. SAMS Sepinggan International Airport is projected to be one of three air gateways to the new Capital City of Indonesia. This airport also won an award in the same category in 2021.
8. Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport
This airport is located in Makassar, South Sulawesi, about 20 km northeast of Makassar city center. Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport is also the main gateway for flights to eastern Indonesia. This Indonesian airport also won the ASQ Award in 2021.
9. Yogyakarta International Airport
The location of Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) is in Kulon Progo, about 45 km from Yogyakarta City. YIA was built to replace Adi Sutjipto International Airport which had excess passenger capacity. Similar to Sepinggan Airport and Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, YIA also won the ASQ Award in 2021.

10. I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport
This airport is the gateway to one of Indonesia’s popular tourist destinations, namely Bali Island. I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport has experienced several developments and area expansions in line with increasing passenger capacity. Bali Island is also often the location for holding international events, so it requires an airport that can accommodate large-bodied aircraft from abroad.
11. Juanda International Airport
Juanda International Airport is located in Sidoarjo, East Java, 20 km south of Surabaya. This airport is also one of the busiest airports in Indonesia.
Those are the 11 airports in Indonesia that won the 2023 ASQ Awards. Previously, in 2021, 6 Indonesian airports won similar awards. This shows that the quality of service at Indonesian airports is getting better.
